Meet Dr. DeMayo

Franco DeMayo, DMD (Specialty No. 07370)

Dr. Francesco DeMayo was born and raised in Houston, TX. While completing his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Chicago, he played for the university’s football team. Then Dr. DeMayo pursued a Masters of Public Health at Columbia University Mailman School of Public health. Afterwards, he earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While at Penn, he was inducted into the Matthew Cryer Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society, and was an Associate Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics.

After earning his DMD, Dr. DeMayo received a specialty certificate and Masters of Science in Endodontics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry. During his time in residency, he served as chief resident and as a senator for the Graduate and Professional Student Government. He currently serves as a part-time adjunct faculty in the graduate endodontics department at UNC.

Dr. DeMayo is a board eligible endodontist that is a member of the American Association of Endodontist, New Jersey Dental Association, Southern Dental Association of New Jersey, Tar Heel Endodontic Association, and American Dental Association. He is devoted to patient centered care that not only addresses their dental needs, but also makes them feel comfortable throughout the process.

In his spare time, Dr. DeMayo enjoys sports, travel, and spending time with his wife Leana and daughter Gabriella.
